Passport and Visa
Every foreign visitor entering Japan must have a valid passport. A visa is also required for citizens of countries that do not have a visa-exempt agreement with Japan. If you require a visa to enter Japan, please check with your local Japanese Embassy or Consulate to obtain the necessary documents. Please give yourself plenty of time to get the necessary paperwork completed in time for your departure.
Please refer to The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Home Page ( http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/index.html) for more details.
If you should require any support from us in preparing documents for visa application, we will charge JPY6,000 per one set of visa documents. Please apply for this service by choosing [Visa document fee] on the registration form by no later than February 19, 2010. On receipt of your registration and payment, we will send you the visa application form to make the visa document for you.
Also please note that this charge is for the Visa Support Office to prepare the necessary documents for your visa application based on the information you will provide and that it does not guarantee that you will be able to obtain a visa. Even if you cannot obtain the visa, this charge will not be refunded. Also, please note that this service will be provided only for the presenters at this workshop.
